Elite Sports Rugby introduces children aged under 7 and under 8 to tag rugby.  Sessions are designed to encourage children to develop the skills of running and handling through fun and exciting games/drills. Tag rugby is a very simplified form of the game of rugby union and is the formal introductory game to mini rugby.

Under 9 – Under 13 sessions are full contact. Elite Rugby will develop all round skills and game understanding with emphasis on physical literacy appropriate to the stage development of the participant. Sessions will include individual skills, mini unit skills and team skills. All sessions will be focussed on safety and enjoyment with the Elite Rugby coaches acting as a guide in a player centred process.

Each afternoon will see the children playing matches and taking on the coaches and each other in various skills challenges.

• Brett has played for Northampton, Coventry and London Welsh.
• He has representative honours for Ireland U19 and captained the Ireland U21 team and is currently on the AIB Ireland XV squad.
• He is a Level 2 coach working towards his Level 3 award.
