Where do I drop off /pick up my child at a camp?
Our staff who will make it very clear where the registration point is at every venue. Drop off and pick up will be at this point every day. There will be one designated registration and collection point for all children. Parents (or guardians) are required to sign-in and sign-out their children each day.

What are the timings for the camp?
All camps run from 9.30am – 3.30pm

What should my child bring?
Your child is welcome to bring his or her own sports equipment, if they have a favourite hockey stick/cricket bat for example. However we will provide all necessary equipment for all the sports and activities your child will take part in. Again Elite sport advise all children bring their own water bottle.

Will you provide lunch for my child?
Lunch will not be provided, please send your child with a packed lunch .

What should my child wear?
Every child should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, tracksuits with shorts if the weather is good, and ideally every child should have 2 pairs of footwear, one for inside and one for outside if the weather is bad.

Are all staff qualified?
Elite Sport staff and coaches are all qualified specialists in their sport. A minimum Level One qualification is required however most coaches are Level Two qualified working towards Level Three . All members of Elite sports hold up to date first aid qualification along with CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance. Staff include internationals professionals, semi-professional in their chosen sport as well as professional sport coaches and teachers.

What is the process if there is an injury incident during the course?
Any incidents, e.g. administering first aid, that need to be documented shall be by the camp manager and parents will be made aware of the incident that occurred to their child. If a serious accident takes place during the camp you will be contacted immediately.    

What is the process for lost property?
At the end of the camp lost property will be displayed at the parent/guardian pick up point. We cannot guarantee the return of all lost property.

What is the ratio of coaches to children?
As part of Elite sports commitment to quality coaching, maximum group of ten children to one coach, however children aged 8 and under will have the ratio of maximum eight children to one coach.

If I want to know how my child is getting on at a camp, what do I do?
You can call our Lead coach on the number 07702822963 at any time during camp hours to find out how your child is.
